Getting your page live
Sign up, pick a username, then open Customise. Add an avatar, a bio and a few links, and your page is already live at dreaded.lol/yourname. Nothing needs publishing — every change saves as you make it.
Turning on Discord presence
Link Discord on your Account page, then add the Discord presence widget under Customise → Widgets. Leave the user ID blank to use your linked account. Presence is read live in the visitor’s browser; if you go invisible, the widget goes quiet. The presence relay needs to be watching your account, which happens once you join the relay server linked in our Discord.
Adding music
Customise → Audio. Upload an MP3 or paste a direct file link, then turn on "Play music on my page". Browsers refuse to autoplay sound until someone interacts with the page, so keep the click-to-enter splash on. Platinum accounts can add a full playlist and a live visualiser.
Using the file host
The Files tab is a drop target. Anything you upload gets a permanent link you can paste anywhere. Download the ShareX config to send screenshots straight there. Uploads are checked against their real file signature, so renaming a file to .png will not get it past the filter.
Customising your link preview
Customise → Embeds controls what Discord, Twitter and iMessage show when someone pastes your link: the title, description, image, site name and the colour of the embed strip. This is a Platinum feature; free pages get a sensible preview generated from your profile.
Pointing your own domain at your page
Platinum accounts can add a domain they own. Add a CNAME record pointing at our edge and the TXT record we show you, then hit verify. Your uploads can be served from the same domain.
Common questions.
Account → Username. Your old name is released straight away, so anyone can take it. Links to the old address will stop working, but any aliases you own keep redirecting.
Use one of the backup codes you saved when you turned two-factor on — enter it in the authenticator field. Each code works once. If you have no codes left, email support from the address on the account.
Video backgrounds need an MP4 or WebM file, and some mobile browsers refuse to autoplay large files on cellular data. Keep it under about 10 MB and 1080p for the best results.
Only if they are impersonating you or infringing a trademark you own. Names are otherwise first-come, first-served. Send evidence to the legal address.
We may reclaim a username from an account that has not been signed into for over 12 months. We email you first at the address on the account.
Account → Delete account. It removes your page, links, files and analytics immediately. There is no undo.
